You can obtain electronic fingerprints for NFA devices like suppressors, short-barreled rifles (SBRs), or machine weapons at the Silencer Shop kiosk.

Does the ATF eForm 4 require fingerprints if I’m purchasing an NFA item? Yes, the applicant’s fingerprints must be submitted when applying for a Form 4 (on paper or electronically, using an eForm 4). Your fingerprints are scanned at the Silencer Shop kiosk, and the ATF receives a digital file of them along with your application. Because these digital files can be sent almost rapidly to the ATF when your eForm 4 is submitted, you should use the electronic fingerprint scanning at the Silencer Shop kiosk if you want to acquire your suppressor quickly.

Your information (including your prints) will be added to your profile after just one trip to the Silencer Shop kiosk, and you can access these files at any time to make purchases in the future. After visiting the Silencer Shop kiosk once, you may order your subsequent NFA items from home or while traveling anyplace you have access to a computer or smartphone without having to scan another set of prints or visit the kiosk again.
